Sell Your Saddle

Curated second-hand saddle sales, presented with professionalism and care.

How Selling Through Masters Saddles Ltd Works

Submit Your Saddle Details

Complete the Sell Your Saddle form with as much information as possible, including brand, size, condition, and photographs.

This allows Masters Saddles Ltd to provide an initial assessment and guide you on suitability for sale.

Professional Assessment

Once accepted, your saddle will be professionally inspected for safety, structure, and overall condition. Proof of ownership may be requested. Saddles must be clean and suitable for resale, and preparation or cleaning fees may apply where necessary.

Preparation & Pricing

Your saddle is carefully prepared and professionally presented. Where required, Masters Saddlers (SMS qualified) may quote for repairs, adjustments, or reflocking to ensure the saddle meets welfare and safety standards before listing.

Curated Marketing

Selected saddles are introduced to a trusted audience through the Masters Saddles Ltd website and the Second Hand Saddles UK rider community — focusing on quality buyers rather than high-volume resale.

Sale & Payment

Once your saddle sells, payment is issued via bank transfer after the agreed holding period. Masters Saddles Ltd manages communication throughout the process, providing a discreet and professional selling experience.

Supported by the Second Hand Saddles UK rider community

At Masters Saddles Ltd, every saddle accepted is carefully selected to ensure quality, safety, and the best possible experience for both horse and rider. Our commission service is designed for owners who value expert assessment, honest presentation, and a discreet, professional sales process.

Before You Apply

Saddles must be structurally sound and suitable for resale. Proof of ownership or purchase may be requested, and a professional health and safety check will be completed prior to listing.

Saddles should be presented clean and in good condition. Where significant cleaning is required, a preparation fee may apply prior to sale.

As part of the assessment process, flocking condition will be evaluated. If flocking is excessively compacted, hardened, or unsuitable for safe use, adjustments or re-flocking may be recommended before the saddle can be offered for sale.

Collection and delivery are not included. Saddles must be brought to Masters Saddles or a pre-arranged meeting point once accepted.

A Refined Selling Experience

Every saddle accepted through Masters Saddles is carefully assessed, professionally presented.
